This page is designed to be viewed on monitors using either 800x600 pixel (common for smaller monitors) or 1024x768 pixel (common for larger monitors) screen sizes. If you have a choice, we recommend using the 1024x768 setting.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to use the left-side navigation bar you must have the browser window set to "full screen" on your monitor. Otherwise parts of the menu will be inaccessable (and the pages will come out awkward-looking, too).
Navigation
This site uses frames, but we've tried to keep it as user-friendly as possible. Basically, the blue bar down the left side contains links to the various pages within the site. This bar will remain in place for every page within the site that you access. Some pages have menus of "daughter" pages which can't be accessed directly from the navigation bar. For these pages, links to their "parent" pages can be found just under the title banner and at the bottom of the page (except for the sermon pages, where the return links are located only at the bottom of the page).
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: If you find for some reason that you cannot use the navigation bar, at the bottom of the main page there are links to all of the "parent" pages. To move from "parent" page to "parent" page you will have to use your browser's "back" button to return to the main page.
The AUMC site contains some links to outside Web sites. When these are clicked, a separate browser window will open for them.
AUMC Site Update
Typically, the AUMC site is updated at least every week. Most of the new information can be found on the What's New? page, its associated Announcement page, and in the AUMC newsletter, Witness, accessible from the note on the home page, which is in PDF format for easy downloading and use. Upcoming sermon topics can be found in the Worship page, and older sermons can be found at the top of the list on the Sermons page. Additionally, there are weekly updates to the Youth and Children's pages so check them frequently to stay abreast of their dynamic programs.
