English as a
Second Language (ESL)

     ESL Classes are offered to anyone in need of this training. Classes are offered in beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Teams of tutors who have been properly trained serve as tutors/teachers for the classes. Persons interested in receiving instruction in English should contact the church office.

     Success in teaching English as a second language is dependent on the frequency of classes and the number of willing teachers. AUMC offers the opportunity for any interested person to receive training as a tutor and to join a teaching team. Opportunities exist for once a week tutoring, more frequent tutoring or substitute tutoring. For information about teaching contact the church office.
