Mission and Service

AUMC Children’s Ministry is actively involved in mission and service projects that support the on-going for the church as a whole.  The specific activity is chosen for the age of the children participating so they can understand how their actions reflect God’s love and makes a difference in our community, state, country and the world.

Children participate in many mission projects throughout the year. Mission projects this year included: collection for the ACCA food pantry, raising money for backpacks for children at Rising Hope, writing letters to soldiers, collecting and delivering goodie baskets for local fire department, cooking and serving meals for the Bailey Crossroads Shelter.
