Annandale United
Methodist Men

      The mission of the United Methodist Men is to provide opportunities for individual and corporate spiritual growth for all men of AUMC through education, lay ministry, service and fellowship programs and activities. All men are invited to join in this creative fellowship seeking to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily His will.

     Annandale United Methodist Men meet on the 3rd Saturday morning of each month at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast at the church. Breakfast is prepared by volunteers among the men, followed by a time of singing and a program designed to help men in the development of their spiritual lives. These Saturday mornings provide excellent opportunities for fellowship with other men of the church.

     To join the Annandale United Methodist Men, one only has to come to the breakfast meeting.

NEWS ITEMS

Monthly Breakfast Meeting - this Saturday, September 15

You'll want to be in Wright Hall this Saturday for Richard Robinson's Welcoming Congregation Workshop. This special program will help us focus on those things we can do to make sure our AUMC guests are understood and treated well from their first steps on our parking lot. Be there for singing and breakfast at 7:30, followed by Richard's presentation at 8:30.

18th Annual UMM Retreat - Back to the mountain!
Our annual UMM Retreat is set and scheduled for April 18-20 next Spring, at Richmond Hill Retreat Center. Register in the next two weeks (before October 1) and receive a significant discount on your registration fee. An application is enclosed.

Bi-District UMM Breakfast and Rally At Annandale on September 22!
Arlington and Alexandria Districts will hold a Bi-District Prayer Breakfast and Rally at Annandale United Methodist Church.  It will begin with a breakfast at 8:00 AM. As hosts for this event, we will need volunteers to help serve the breakfast, set up Wright Hall, and receive our guests. The keynote speaker is our own Rev. Jim Driscoll.
