Annandale United Methodist offers Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:45 a.m. on the Annandale campus and 9 a.m. on the Immanuel campus. Some study groups also meet on weekdays and evenings.
Children’s Ministries include Sunday School for children aged 2 through 5th grade; “Godly Play”, Children’s Chapel Sundays during the 11 a.m. worship service; the weekly PRO (Preschoolers Reaching Out) program; Parents and Promises, parenting group; childcare for infants through preschoolers during worship services, choir practices, Bible studies and other activities; special seasonal programs including Vacation Bible School, Kids in Mission (KIM), Family Fun Fest and Christmas Pageant. Youth Ministries, known as “The Grid”, is for middle and high school students and includes Sunday morning classes, a Sunday evening program called “Ramp”, monthly community “Merge” events, special activities including Youth Sunday, Youth Week, and the Summer Mission Trip. For Adults, The Academy of Discipleship is the ministry of adult Christian education and discipleship at Annandale United Methodist Church. The Academy “…exists to help seekers and disciples connect in Christian community, grow in Christian discipleship, and serve in Christian ministry. The goal is for everyone to find a place to connect, grow, and serve.” The Academy offers many classes, small groups, study groups (some of which meeting during the week), and opportunities for discipleship.
