Young adult ministry at AUMC is for young adults, ages 18-35, who are interested in studying
God's word, sharing in Christian fellowship, and serving together in mission.
Please join us for the following events and groups.

December 10

We will be providing dinner for the seminarians at Wesley Theological Seminary.  This time our theme will be hearty soups.  If you need more information email Rev. Carrillo or ask any of the young adults about it.  We will be carpooling from the church at exactly 5.

Young Adult Small Group
Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Room 302

Every Thursday evening the young adults have a time of fellowship and dinner.  After dinner we have a time of discussion and exploration of our own faith.  Right now we are studying the book Love Wins by Rob Bell.  In it we have found that even though we claim we are Christians we can have very different points of view about God, Heaven and Hell.  And above all we have fun exploring different ideas and arguments.  Come as you are, did I mention dinner is free?

Bi-District Young Adult Round Table
In addition to activities at AUMC, young adults participate in Bi-District young adult activities. The Bi-District Young Adult Round Table creates a time for fellowship and community outreach projects for young adults in Northern Virginia. Click here for more information and a calendar of events.
