Groups & Classes
Get Real - Young Adult Sunday School Class
Sundays at 9:45 a.m., Room 210
Leader: Rev. Eduardo Carrillo
If you are between the ages of 18 and 35 and are looking for a place in the church where together we can "get real" about life and the Christian journey, come join our class. On July 11, 2010, we will begin a new study of John Ortberg's award winning book, If You Want To Walk On Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat. Young adults are able to ask questions about the Chrisitan faith, explore their walk with God, and build community and fellowship with one another.
Young Adult Small Group
Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Media Center
Summer Dates: July 15, 30, Aug 12, 26
Leader: Liz McConville
Young adults who like fun activities and lively discussion will especially enjoy this group. We have recently been watching "Great Films of the Christian Faith." Come grow with us in fun and fellowship as we learn from each other and discuss what it means to be a follower of Christ in today's society.
Bi-District Young Adult Round Table
In addition to activities at AUMC, young adults participate in Bi-District young adult activities. The Bi-District Young Adult Round Table creates a time for fellowship and community outreach projects for young adults in Northern Virginia. Click here for more information and a calendar of events.
