Extended Day & Late Day Programs for

Weekday Preschoolers and Early Learning Program

The AUMC Early Learning Program [ELP] offers an Extended Day Program until 2:30 p.m. for children attending the Weekday Preschool (WPS). The Extended Day classes run September through May on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in any configuration that best fits your child’s morning preschool schedule. The extended day offers parents the convenience of a longer day, and coordinates with the Early Learning Program’s hours.

When WPS dismisses at 12:00 p.m., children are escorted from their preschool classroom to their Extended Day classroom.
After a busy morning in preschool, the children in the Extended Day Program will enjoy a leisurely and relaxed atmosphere. The children enjoy eating lunch together (which you send from home), relax for a short rest/story time period, and have fun during outdoor recess and free-choice time. The children will then be dismissed at 2:30PM.

New for 2010
ELP is now offering 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool children a new Late Day option until 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. These classes are also held September through May. Children will enjoy an afternoon snack, an art or science activity, interest area choice time, and outdoor play. Parents may pick children up at any point in the afternoon before 5:30PM.

Tuition for Extended Day and Late Day classes is due on the first class day of each month. Checks are to be made out to AUMC ELP (not WPS please!). Always include your child’s name on your check. Tuition rates are as follows:

Extended Day for WPS Children (12-2:30 p.m)
          1 Day per week -  $104
          2 Days per week - $208
          3 Days per week - $312

Late Day for WPS Children (12-5:30 p.m)
          1 Day per week -  $125
          2 Days per week - $250
          3 Days per week - $375

Discount:
There is a 15% discount for siblings also enrolled in Early Learning Program.

Registration Fees:
There is a one-time registration fee which is non-refundable.

  •  Extended Day = *$50 per family
  •  Late Day = *$30 per family

*This fee is waived if there are already siblings enrolled in any of the other the ELP programs.
